The Noori Knocker is our most understated piece of architectural hardware: a clean, geometric form handcrafted in solid brass and finished in a muted antique tone. Designed for modern apartments and minimalist entrances that want authentic metal craftsmanship without elaborate figural carving, it proves that quiet design can carry lasting weight.
Handcrafted Solid Brass Minimalism
Weighing 505 g and measuring 11.4 x 10.16 x 4 cm, the Noori Knocker is forged and finished from solid brass. Its balanced oval silhouette feels comfortable in any hand, and its solid striking boss gives a crisp, polite knock that is distinct without being startling. Because there is no hollow core or flimsy plating, the metal will not dent, chip or peel through decades of daily use.
The hand-rubbed antique finish gives the smooth curves a subtle warmth that pairs naturally with both contemporary painted doors and natural timber veneers.
The Beauty of Pure Architectural Proportion
While our heritage motifs celebrate sacred guardians, the Noori Knocker celebrates the quiet dignity of pure proportion. Inspired by Mid-Century Indian and Scandinavian hardware design, it sits quietly on the door, allowing the grain of the wood or the color of the paint to shine while offering an inviting focal point for arriving guests.
Proportioned for Apartments and Standard Doors
With its compact 11.4 cm height, the Noori Knocker is the ideal knocker for city apartments, secondary entrances, library doors and modern residential developments where space is at a premium. It installs easily with standard rear bolts. Refer to our architectural sizing guide and fitting guide for step-by-step installation.

Noori Knocker FAQs
What is the Noori Knocker made of?
It is made from handcrafted solid brass, finished in antique brass. The colour is the metal itself, so there is no thin coating to chip or peel, and the piece keeps its strength for decades of daily use.
How big is it, and which door does it suit?
The knocker is 11.4 x 10.16 x 4 cm and 505 g. It is best suited to a standard main or apartment door. If your door is unusually tall, wide or thin, check the sizing guide before ordering, or write to us and we will help you choose.
Will the finish change over time?
Yes, gently. Brass is a living metal, so high points brighten with touch while recesses deepen in tone. That patina is part of the charm, but you can restore the original look at any time with mild cleaning.
What does the motif symbolise?
This design stands for understated, timeless elegance. Choosing a motif with meaning turns a practical piece of hardware into a small daily ritual at the threshold of your home.
How are delivery and returns handled?
Every order is packed securely and ships free across India. Full dispatch details are on our shipping page, and if the piece is not right for your door you can use our 10-day returns policy.
